How to get started

Book a trial lesson
45 minutes for €30, booked online. We play or sing together and figure out where you are and where you want to go.

Get a fixed slot
If you continue, you get a fixed time, usually every two weeks. That way you can plan ahead and practise between lessons.

Continue with a monthly plan
Your first month is a trial month. After that you can cancel at any time with one month's notice to the end of a month. The trial fee is credited.
Prices
The studio is in Berlin-Tempelhof, one minute from Westphalweg subway station (U6). You'll get the exact address by email after booking.
Not looking for regular lessons? In a coaching session we spend 60 minutes on one specific topic – an audition, a particular song, a voice check or feedback on your own songs.
You can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your appointment – on a monthly plan up to twice per quarter. Other rhythms, such as weekly lessons, are available on request.

Your teacher
I'm Roman – singer, pianist and producer. I studied pop vocals and music production (B.A., Institut für Musik Osnabrück) and play keys and sing in Berlin's R&B and soul scene, with artists including Paula Dalla Corte and Katha Pauer.
In my lessons, one thing matters most to me: that you can express yourself musically, freely and independently – whatever level you start from.
Frequently asked questions
What happens in the trial lesson?
We play or sing a bit together, I get a sense of where you're at, and we figure out what you want to work on. You leave with a clear idea of what lessons could look like for you – no strings attached.
Do I need any prior experience?
No. Lessons work from absolute beginner level all the way up to audition prep. You don't need to bring anything – piano, microphone and everything else is in the studio.
Who are lessons for?
Adults and motivated teenagers. The fit is especially good if you're into pop, R&B, soul or jazz, or if you're preparing for gigs, recordings or auditions.
What if I can't make it?
You can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your appointment – using the link in your confirmation email, on a monthly plan up to twice per quarter. After that the appointment expires, as I'm holding the slot just for you.
Can I work on my own songs?
Yes. We can write, record and produce your songs together – in your lessons or as a separate recording package.
Do you also teach at my home?
No. Lessons take place in my studio – it has everything we need and lets me schedule reliably.
